Summer@ArtQuest, a summer art camp, will take place June 25-28, Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. on the front terrace of the museum. It is open to children 8-12 years of age and a maximum of 15 students can be enrolled. Reservations are required.

The mission of Summer@ArtQuest is to foster and promote the study and appreciation of modern and contemporary art, in particular, art and artists from California. Children will view OMA’s current and past exhibits to learn about various art mediums and will then participate in a variety of hands-on art projects. The mediums used will include painting, drawing, sculpture and graphic design. In addition, we will emphasize the elements and principles of art and the workings of a museum. Children will be involved in both individual and group projects. And we will have fun with art!
